Yes We Can.

Last week end, the vice president of the United States came to my campus in Plymouth, NH. I was excited by what he would speech for the future of this nation although politic is out of my interest.

“Today, I’m gonna talk about the unemployment” his speech was begun with like this beginning after his people and many international students, like me, waited the beginning for more than an hour in a crowded space. The speech was really well organized, but nothing was mentioned with exact numbers such as until when, how much, and how many he promises us to do in the next coming administrational term. What I understood was that he hires consultants so his speech would become look good. I understood what hard times he has experienced in his life before. I understood how the selfish Wall streeters are interrupting the States’ economy to recover from the recession. And I understood how many mistakes the Bush administration made. I think “unemployment” is not a topic the vice president should talk about now because we have much more priorities, yet he should have finished at least this topic with numbers at the speech since he promised us to talk about this at the beginning.

And I had no idea for what points people there made the standing ovation. Also, it contradicts to say here, but the USA is the county of immigration, country of opportunity, and country of challenge. We, young people, have no time to ask the politicians to take care of the number about the unemployment. Establish your own business. Move out to another place for more opportunities. You can do that because you are a child of the challengers. You are the one who take care of your life. That is what I moved to this country for.

I was disappointed a lot by the speech. Yes I somehow already know that politicians are many times just saying wards. That is always all politicians about. In the coming next administrational term, the “change” should come from us instead of ones on a stage for speech.

Each of us has to wake up to prepare for being able to cultivate our lives like your ancestors did.
Wake up America!!
