Yes, we can!!

It’s a quarter passed 9pm in the New Hampshire. Date is almost the 9.11. As everyone knows, 3.11 in this year was the unforgettable day for Japanese. I think 9.11 for Americans was as much shock as the earthquake.

A decade ago, I was a junior high school student, and watching the TV after dinner. When a comedy I was watching was suddenly changed into the emergency news program, I thought it’s just an accident... I would be so sorry if readers of this blog suffered from the tragedy. I want no such a sadness to happen anymore.

In my opinion, what the US government committed against the happening, as if it’s a right way, was totally wrong. The decision was already wrong as the wonderful US president began thinking how to take a next action from the terror. I always think why US couldn’t find out a more peaceful way. People who died on the day, are dead no matter how we hate the terrorists. And is the US allowed to kill people in Iraq then? It looked like that the decision was 100% right because the US was the victim in that time. But what the guy called the president of the United States and people in his country had to find out was not a right answer. It’s a better or best answer. “They killed our people, so we will kill them. Yeah, it’s right!!”  This is too immature… US knew how it’s sad and nothing is productive if a number of people were killed by a selfish idea. Then the president’s saying should have been “I know you guys are sad and anger, but what should we do? What is the step we need to be on as the victim?” And I think the US was able to make some peaceful solutions as the World leader which words US uses when they call themselves.

And this 10th annual day too. We have to think “Why” it happened as well as make wish for the peaceful World in our future. “Why the terrorists did that?” “HOW the people there look at us?” “Maybe WE were a kind of terrorists for them throughout our economic and political system?” “Peaceful World is made by all kinds of people, so what is the definition of peace for THEM? What do they want?”

US people are aggressive to do volunteer, many NPOs and NGOs are helping people in the World, and a lot of social businesses from the US are taking action to make this World more sustainable. However a nation who picks up most energy, money, wealth from all over the World is also the US which also has been in the wars so long time. In my travel experiences such as Silk Road, people in developing countries tend to dislike the US, and they said “Where the US goes is where troubles happen”.

It’s time to think how the richest country should be to protect that kind of tragedy in the future.
It’s time to think what the “fact” which caused the tragedy was, and how we should take actions in the coming decade.

I don’t think it’s time for the US soldiers to leave for somewhere to manage other countries.
I don’t think it’s time to change political systems of other countries neither.
It’s time to change our thinking and idea to see the World. All people in all nations are supposed to be happy, and, I think, sharing wealth, nature, foods, energy, peace, and mind with others are essential to make it just like we do between our neighbors.

Can we do that?

Yes, we can!!

Go for it!! Chuji.
