What Origami is.

Origami (Paper folding)  is the traditional Japanese culture. Ori means 'folding', and kami means 'paper'. This culture began in the 17th century, Edo era.

You can make many kinds of animals, flower, and etc, but probably the most well known origami is crane because in our belief, a thousand of crane origami makes one's dream come true. Reason why this belief got famous is that a Japanese girl kept making origami cranes to live as long as possible with her leukemia which she got from the atomic bomb in Hiroshima.

Even though her wish didn't come true, school children and people from all over Japan started making these cranes and send it to the Hiroshima Peace Park to commemorate her as well as other nuclear victims. Now there are more than dozens of millions of paper cranes made.

My purpose in this travel in not only peace. Health, Rich, Girlfriend, Football player...anything in fine as long as they imagine their future in positive ways.

Ohkini, Chuji,
